Business meetings on the luxurious yacht “VENTURA” as a part of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival

Meetings with producers, distributors, actors and film critics from different countries were held on the board of the luxury yacht “VENTURA” for 5 days during the Cannes Festival 2018. The boat was parked next to the Palle Festival, under the flags of Renovatio Entertainment and our partners from Russian film week in London.

The negotiations took place in a cosy, beautiful and very warm atmosphere. Various ways and aspects of the development of our companies and the cinema as a whole were discussed.
There was a great and fun after party, which was visited by more than 60 famous people on the 11th of March.

Among the guests who attended our meetings on  the “VENTURA” yacht were:
Andrey Zvyagintsev - director; Mikhail Zygar - a writer; Alexey Guskov - actor; Ingeborg Dapkunayte - actress; Lan Blavatnik - entrepreneur; Juliana Slashcheva - Chairman of the Board of Soyuzmultfilm Studios; Sergey Sholokhov - film critic; Stas Tyrkin - film critic; Sam Klebanov - film industry leader; Maria Smirnova - director of content for IVI; Igor Dobrovolsky - founder of the Luxor group of companies; Vladimir Artemenko - co-owner of the online cinema MEGOGO; Vadim Vereshchagin - Director of Central Partnership Rental; Vadim Potapov - Head of Financial and Production Department of the “Cinema Fund”; Konstantin Fam - director; Olga Sutulova - actress; Ekaterina Mtsituridze - General Director of “Roskino”; as well as the representatives from the STS channel and heads of distribution companies.

Renovatio Entertainment and the Russian film week in London agreed on a partnership last December, after the premiere of our film “Defenders” during the London week of Russian cinema. Renovatio General Producer Vladimir Polyakov and Philip Perkon, founder and producer of Russian Film Week in London, have found many mutually interesting and promising paths for the development of both companies.

This year the festival will be held in London from November 25th to December the 2nd, 2018. All films will be selected only by the English jury, so the presence of English sub titles is required. The winning film will receive a Golden Unicorn at the closing ceremony of the festival. Our company will also present two films. Which ones? For now, we will keep it a secret...
